Lohiya Group’s Journey of 35 years (1987- 2022)

– Lohiya Industries was first established in 1987 at Gagan Pahad under the guidance of our Chairman, Shri Kanhaiyalal Lohiya.
– The Gagan Pahad plant started with a basic expeller unit extracting vegetable oils. The refinery was started in 1990 with production of Gold Drop Refined Sunflower Oil.
– With humble beginnings, starting with a production of 30 Tons per day, catering to only a part of the Hyderabad Market, after 35 years, the market for Gold Drop is spread across the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and is on the verge of expanding pan-India as well as poised to explore overseas markets too.

– Reckoned as a very strong Regional player in South India in Edible Oil with leading market share in AP and Telengana.
– Gold Drop is among the top 5 brands of refined sunflower oil nationally.
– Among the Top 5 importers in of sunflower oil in India
– Gold Drop has a very strong Brand Recall in Telugu speaking states with brand awareness at nearly 90%
– Our edible oil business has registered dramatic growth from a turnover in 1990 of just Rs. 10 Crs. in 1990 to Rs. 4300 Crs. in FY 2022
